Tallaght’s Blaszke to feature on Fighting Spirit show in Arena

THE National Basketball Arena will provide the venue to the Fighting Spirit Show that will feature the ISKA World K1 Kickboxing Light Heavyweight title fight between Kevin Ward and Tallaght’s Dawid Blaszke on Saturday, September 22.

Originally from Poland, Blaszke moved to Ireland more than 12 years ago and is now head coach and owner of Naas Kickboxing & Fitness.

Currently the Number One K1 Kickboxer in Ireland, he enjoyed a very successful 2017, winning all of his six fights and beating his opponents by KO.

The four-time Irish professional champion has signed a two-year contract with Glory Kickboxing and recently competed in Glory 54 in the UK in June ahead of his ISKA World Title clash with UK Champion Ward this month.

Weigh-ins for the event will take place in the Green Isle Hotel on Friday, September 21 at 3pm.

Tickets for the much anticipated event can be purchased from www.fightingspirit.ie, from fighters and supporting gyms.

A limited amount of tickets can be purchased on the door. VIP tables seating 10 people €1000, €50 ringside seats, €30 standard seating.
